Scaled Agile celebrates growth milestone: 200,000 SAFe-trained professionals!

We’re proud to announce that 200,000 professionals have received training through our role-based SAFe training and certification program. The upward trajectory of the number of people taking SAFe classes mirrors the increasing number of businesses adopting SAFe. We attribute this to one simple fact; SAFe is delivering measurable business results—including substantial improvements in quality, productivity, time-to-market, and employee engagement—and the more people trained, the better the results. In a four-part series of blog articles, SAFe Fellow Ian Spence discusses the challenges of refining Features in the Program Backlog, the seven deadly sins of Feature preparation, how to define Feature readiness, and some practical tips to avoid waterfalling Features. We mourn the unexpected passing of our friend and collaborator Daryl Winters. Daryl was an early and long-standing member of the SPCT community, and his passing impacts many in the SAFe community.

“Daryl leaves a legacy of passion for his work in the industry, and the many great friendships he made along the way,” the Icon Agility Services team said in a statement. He will be missed and his passing is a great loss for all of us. Rest in peace, Daryl
