Vernice 'FlyGirl' Armour to keynote 2018 Global SAFe Summit
America's first African-American female combat pilot has joined the keynote lineup for the Global SAFe Summit in Washington, DC. Leveraging her 'Breakthrough Mentality' and 'Get Gutsy' mindset, Vernice 'FlyGirl' Armour propelled herself from beat cop to combat pilot in a record-breaking three years.
FlyGirl's fresh, edgy style, high, contagious energy, and unique, gutsy essence jump off the stage, page, and screen and moves people to action. Since 2007, she has inspired countless organizations and individuals to make gutsy moves and create breakthrough results. The Global SAFe Summit will also be keynoted by tech company advisor and author Geoffrey Moore, with other keynotes still to be announced. What is the SAFe Summit?

First Regional SAFe Summit concludes as a major success in Frankfurt, Germany
A big thank you to all the people who made the first Regional SAFe Summit such a great success! Around 450 attendees, including representatives from 46 Scaled Agile Partners, participated in a full schedule of keynotes, technical sessions, customer success stories, exhibits, and extensive networking opportunities.
The Regional Summit sold out but registration is still open for the 2018 Global SAFe Summit in Washington, DC, Oct. 1 - 5. Early bird discounted registration ends this month.
Scaled Agile joins ITCC Agile Development Task Force
Members of Scaled Agile, Inc.'s certification team have been invited to join the Agile Development Task Force of the IT Certification Council (ITCC). As Agile software development practices advance to address today's ever-changing software demands, the task force helps ensure that tests and certifications are reliable, valid, and fair.
“As Agile becomes more important for our enterprise members responding to digital disruption, the ability for certification to match the progression of developments in Agile practices is essential,” said Kristin Gibson, ITCC President. “Scaled Agile brings extensive experience and expertise in Agile software development training and certification to the IT Certification Council.”
